Bio: Jovita Jenkins is an executive coach and consultant, specializing in leadership development. A pioneer in the Aerospace industry, Jovita forged a career that lasted for three (3) decades, starting as an engineers and holding culminating as a director. She currently has a contract to support a major Aerospace company as an on-going executive/leadership coach. Her passion is to leverage her hard won wisdom and effective strategies to help women leaders be more effective and technology professionals successfully transition from individual contributor to management roles.

Jovita, a Commissioner on the Los Angeles City Quality and Productivity Commission, holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mathematics from Cal State Los Angeles, an MBA from UCLA’s prestigious Anderson School of Business, and is certified as a professional coach through the International Coach Federation.  A prior TEC Chair, providing executive coaching services to CEO members of TEC International, Jovita also works with the Executive Service Corp, an organization dedicated to strengthening non-profit organizations, as a coach and mentor to Executive Directors, and as a mentor in the MOSTE program for junior and senior high school aged girls. Jovita, an avid golfer, is married and has a blended family that includes 6 grown children.
